About Us

Arete Journal of Political Philosophy* aims to publish scientific articles that reflect original ideas from political philosophy in particular and from various fields of social sciences such as political science, philosophy, sociology, psychology, and history which connect with political philosophy in general.

Getting strength from the permeability of interdisciplinary border, it brings together qualified writings that discuss various issues, events, ideas, and thinkers that concern political philosophy, whether ancient or contemporary. Arete Journal of Political Philosophy is a double-blind peer-reviewed, international, academic e-journal that is published twice a year (May, November) and consists of articles in Turkish and English. Each issue includes research articles related to political philosophy as well as the articles such as interviews, translations, and book reviews
