In the modern age, which separates things by classifying them, thought also takes its share and is divided into compartments from philosophy to history, from biology to mathematics. The division is accompanied by a perspective that does not recognize the relationship between the compartments concerned, that is to say, disciplines. However, if one of the elements that enrich the thought is to be able to see the differences between things, the other is to discover the connection of things with each other. Precisely for this reason, what is now valid in today’s world is to expand the possibilities and limits of thought through interdisciplinary studies, instead of putting rigid distinctions between disciplines. The field of study in the form of political philosophy emerging in the contemporary world as one of the examples called is established as a new category. The categorization also reflects the awareness of the close connection between politics (or political science), philosophy and history, each of which is visible as separate disciplines in the modern period.
